Storm leaves BSA battling to repair National Diamond

The National Diamond has emerged with damages from the recent heavy rains to hit the city. The pitch’s backstop is in a bad condition, putting particularly players at risk.

Botswana Softball Association (BSA) president, Tirelo Mukokomane told Mmegi Sport yesterday that they do not have funds to maintain the backstop. He said they are still waiting for the beginning of the financial year.

BSA spokesperson, Kelebogile Seitei said they are still trying to get a Good Samaritan to assist them maintain the backstop.
