Spartans hope for better second round

Spartans women's volleyball side, which joined action late, will hope to settle quickly as the Mascom Volleyball League second round starts in Serowe and SSKB tomorrow.

They have three matches against Mafolofolo, Magstimela and Victory Seekers.

The army side only joined the league towards the end of the first round after a miscommunication with their financers Botswana Defence Force (BDF). Earlier this year BDF decided to reduce their teams and it was only realised later that the decision would not affect women's teams.
