Southern Africa AAG qualifiers moved to SA

The All Africa Games (AAG) volleyball qualifiers for the Southern African region have now been moved to South Africa because Zimbabwe is unable to host them.

Zimbabwe had offered to host the qualifying games but failed the Zone VI inspections.

"It was realised that Zimbabwe did not have the right facilities," said Botswana Volleyball Federation (BVF) president, Daniel Molaodi. He said it was probable that when Zimbabwe entered their bid to host the qualifiers, they had a plan to build appropriate venues but that was never to be.
