Seven suitors bid for Gunners

Lobatse based Premier League side, Extension Gunners could be the next team to join the privatisation bandwagon if a consensus is reached at the club's annual general meeting (AGM) on Sunday.

The club will hold the AGM at Peleng Community Centre where privatisation will be the key issue on the agenda.Only paid up members will be allowed into the meeting. Gunners secretary general, Mosimanegape Seitshiro confirmed to Mmegi Sport yesterday that they would unveil seven bidders who have expressed interest in investing in the club.

Gunners announced in June last year that they are taking the privatisation route as a way of addressing the club's financial woes. A decision to privatise was endorsed at the club's AGM in July 2011.  The then chairperson William Maboane had announced that they would call for submissions of business models from interested buyers and select the one best suited for the team.
