Serowe Brigade shines at zonal competitions

MASUNGA: A brilliant performance by Serowe Brigade saw them dominating the North South Zonal sports competitions held at Masunga sports complex over the weekend.

The Serowe side came first in men's football and volleyball with Madiba Senior Secondary School winning in women's football.Nswazwi women scooped volleyball title while Tswapong Bokone were victorious in netball.
Serowe clinched majority of indoor games with Thabang Modisane winning men's table tennis singles before he teamed up with Boitshepo Keatimile to win the doubles. Kerapetse Botana of Madiba, who also won in the doubles with her partner Lebogang Tiroyaone, won the ladies singles.

In chess, Serowe men's team A accumulated 17.5 points to scoop first position with their ladies team amassing 17 points to cruise through to the finals.Sakaio Mooketsi of Tswapong Bokone was the only badminton singles winner as Serowe grabbed the rest. Dimpho Babedi won in the ladies singles and teamed up with Godiraone Keoitse to win the doubles.The men's doubles were won by Thato Ramolemane and Mothusi Ntswelakgosi with Gift Gobela and Dimpho running away with the mixed doubles title.
