Zebras striker Tebogo Sembowa's withdrawal from the team that will travel to Zambia for the COSAFA Senior Challenge starting this weekend is sure to throw a spanner in the works for coach Stanley Tshosane.

The Gaborone United marksman is out of the team due to family commitments and together with goalkeeper Mompoloki Sephekolo, Galabgwe Moyana and Ntesang Simanyana, who cited various reasons, will all miss out on the regional tournament.Sembowa's absence is likely to disrupt Tshosane's plans after some brilliant displays in the national team colours in the previous matches. He has been used mostly as a substitute and Tshosane  heaped praises on him after the last two World Cup qualifiers against Central Africa Republic and Ethiopia. He scored the solitary goal in the Zebras 2-1 defeat to Ethiopia after coming on as a substitute and Tshosane has been under pressure to give him a start ahead of Jerome Ramatlhakwana.

Tshosane told this paper upon return from a friendly match in Egypt last month that he was very impressed with Sembowa's performance and admitted that he did not deserve to be warming the bench. Zebras assistant coach Kenneth Mogae told a press conference yesterday that the four players were left out for different reasons. He said they only learnt on Tuesday that Sembowa was out of the team to attend to undisclosed family commitments.Sephekolo is out due to an injury while Moyana is still sorting out personal issues. A storm might be brewing for the winger as he is reported to have signed contracts with two different clubs.
