Selebi-Phikwe sides fight for fifth spot

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The battle for fifth spot in the be Mobile Premier League has been reduced to a Selebi-Phikwe between Nico United and FC Satmos. Ahead of the final matches of the campaign this weekend, Satmos are fifth with 41 points ahead of their Selebi-Phikwe rivals who have 40.

Satmos play GU on Saturday while Nico face Gunners on Sunday in games that have an impact of who will finish in the top five. 

Nico spokesperson, Kgakgamatso Moreri said his team is ready for action, though some players are carrying knocks. “It is not all about battling for a position with Satmos, but our main aim is to finish in the Top 8. We just want to finish in a better position,” he said.
