Same old story at Gunners

The start of the Mascom Premier League has proved once again that troubled Lobatse side, Lobtrans Gunners still have a long way to go before they come out of the soccer doldrums.

Against GU, Gunners lacked cohesion. Had GU taken advantage, Gunners would have been buried in an avalanche of goals. Some hot-headed supporters blamed Zimbabwean coach, Clever Hunda for the loss. But it is unfair to expect the tactician to produce miracles with such an under-strength squad.

 
The coach was blamed for the substitution of nippy midfielder, Munetsi Mbano. But to be fair, it was clear towards the end of the game that Mbano had faded. He could no longer compete against the likes of Tshepo 'Schoolboy' Molefe and Kebatlogetse 'Go-man' Batsweletse in the GU midfield.
