*But lack of sponsorship remains a headache
The rugby league comes to an end this weekend but sponsorship remains a challenge, Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) president, Bob Lekan told Mmegi Sport in an interview this week.

He said they nearly clinched a sponsorship with a certain company but things did not work out because of economic recession.

He noted that the company felt that the money that was needed by BRU was not affordable. He said that the outcome was disappointing but they intend to continue working hard to find a sponsor for next season.
