Rankgomo enjoying life at Santos

A few games into the new season and people are talking about that dreadlocked Uniao Flamengo Santos striker who mesmerises opponents with his skill and killer shots. That player is Botlhe 'Ringo' Rankgomo, the former Jwaneng Comets forward.

The Molepolole-born striker has scored three goals for the Gabane side since the start of the current Mascom Premier League campaign and if this early success is anything to go by, then he is on his way to great things. He does not rule out that possibility of donning a Zebras jersey before the end of the season.

"Things are working well for me at Santos, I enjoy my game and I do not see any reason why I should not end up amongst the top goal scorers at the end of the season," he said confidently. There is no doubt that Rankgomo has huge potential to turn into a real star and national asset. This is his second season in the top flight. In his first season, at Comets he managed to score eight league goals and hit the target thrice at the play-offs to save Comets from relegation and scored one goal in the Coca-Cola cup.
