Relegation candidates, Prisons XI and Notwane meet today in what is expected to be an exciting be MOBILE Premier League encounter at SSKB Stadium, starting at 4:00 pm.

The two sides find themselves in a precarious position and are desperate to turn the corner as early as possible. Both sides are level on points (15) after an average of 17 matches played. Notwane are placed at position 15 on the log standings with an inferior goal difference to that of Prisons XI and Mogoditshane Fighters. Both Prisons XI and Fighters registered victories last week while Notwane suffered at the hands of city rivals, Township Rollers. The clash between Notwane and Prisons XI is expected to keep spectators at the edge of their seats with both sides desperate for a victory. Notwane do not seem to have learnt from their disastrous campaign last season where they finished at position 14.

However, they have been boosted by the fact that attacking midfielder, Lemogang Maswena will remain with the team at least up to the end of the season. This follows a botched transfer move to Rollers in January. So Maswena is expected to play a vital role in his side's fight for survival. That notwithstanding, they face a side still fresh from their famous victory against Gaborone United (GU) last week. An interesting battle is in the offing between Notwane defender Kgomari Mothuba and Prisons XI striker, Sadat Sinare. Sinare scored crucial goals for Prisons XI in the warders' promotion hunt.
