FRANCISTOWN: Frustration was written on the faces of Prisons XI players' as they left the Francistown Stadium at the weekend after another 2-1 defeat to TAFIC in a poor Mascom Premier League game. This was the warders' 10th loss of the season out of 18 games. The loss was made worse by the fact that Jwaneng Comets salvaged a surprise 2-0 win against Uniao Flamingo Santos. Together with FC Satmos and TASC, Prisons are languishing in the relegation zone.

Though they tried their best against TAFIC, Prisons XI were not convincing over the weekend. There was no cohesion from all departments save for goalkeeper Khalid Niyonzima. The custodian was outstanding and he saved the visitors on numerous occasions. Prisons XI strikers rarely troubled TAFIC and if they did, they lacked composure in front of goalmouth.

However, Prisons' officials rubbished claims that their team would relegate despite the bad performance. Assistant coach Allen Molefe and assistant manager Gabaitse Motsumi were not fazed by the relegation worries after the defeat.
