Play-offs favour Matebele

The moment of truth has finally arrived. After waiting for almost a month, three clubs will be fighting this weekend in the Premier League promotional play-offs in Gaborone and Lobatse.

The battle to fill the last slot in the 16-club Premier League pits BDF XI, Prisons XI and Miscellaneous. Tonight at the National Stadium, BDF XI take on Prisons XI at 6.30pm.

Tomorrow, BDF XI travel to Lobatse for a tricky date with minnows Miscellaneous. The Serowe upstarts complete the weekend's business with a game against Prisons XI at the UB Stadium on Sunday. The play-offs come to an end next weekend and the club with the most points gets the right to play in the Mascom Premier League next season.
