Platinum Stars' Under-14 side has signed Gaborone Football Academy (GFA) defender, Thabang 'Showdem' Bojosi. Bojosi captains both the academy and the Gaborone region soccer sides.

The South African side spotted the youngster during GFA's recent tour of that country where they played Tuks, Verds and Supersport's Under-14 teams.

GFA manager, Khumo Kenalemang said Bojosi stood out in defence during the friendly games, attracting the attention of Platinum Stars.  Kenalemang added that Platinum Stars approached them after the game and the parents have since given the move a green light. This means that the player will leave after completing his Primary School Leaving Examinations to Royal Bafokeng Sports campus in Rustenburg where he will be doing Grade Eight.
