Pitched relegation battles in offing

The relegation battle reaches an interesting phase this weekend with at least seven Premier League sides sitting on the edge of a chopping block.

An average of nine matches remain before the season comes to an end and a fight to finish above the bottom three positions has already intensified.Notwane, Prisons XI and BR Highlanders currently occupy the bottom three positions. The toast of the weekend's matches will be this Sunday when Prisons XI lock horns with Mogoditshane Fighters at SSKB Stadium. At the same time, Molepolole Sports Complex will be the battlefield when Uniao Flamengo Santos take on Notwane. Fighters are currently sitting on position 13 with 20 points.
