Parachute Association of Botswana launched in Gaborone

The Parachute Association of Botswana(PAB) was launched in Gaborone yesterday.

This brings the total number of sport codes in the country to 34. The association has been in existence for five years and will affiliate with the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) once due processes have been completed.

PAB was launched in Gaborone yesterday with the aim of developing and facilitating parachuting in the country. At the launch, attendants were given a taste of what to expect when the guest of honor, Solly Reikeletseng, arrived at the event in a parachute. PAB president, Essop Mokgwathi, said a lot of support from various stakeholders is required for the optimal development of the sport in Botwana.
