PALAPYE: Palapye All Stars returned from last week’s strike over unpaid salaries and predictably performed miserably on the pitch, suffering a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Green Lovers of Serowe.

Palapye All Stars players last week failed to honour a fixture against Tsabotlhe, but returned to action over the week after being paid their outstanding salaries.

“We have 20 players in our team who all went on strike over unpaid salaries when we were supposed to play Tsabotlhe FC, but I can confirm now that we met with the players last week Thursday.
