Notwane make steady progress

After several weeks of despair and confusion among Notwane supporters, the team seem to be finally making inroads as far as their relegation fight is concerned.

For sometime, Notwane have been sitting in one of the bottom three positions on the log following a series of losses. Things seem to be changing for the better after two consecutive victories. Notwane have now moved to position 12 with 22 points. The road to recovery kicked off a fortnight ago when they beat TAFIC 3-1.

This past weekend, Notwane registered another comfortable win against another struggling side, Uniao Flamengo Santos. The victory was their sixth of the season. They have drawn four times and lost 12 in the 22 matches they have played so far. With eight matches remaining, the relegation battle promises to be an interesting one with TAFIC and Miscellaneous now joining Notwane, Mogoditshane Fighters, Prisons XI, BR Highlanders and Uniao Flamengo Santos in the fight.
