Notwane atone Kabelano setback

Toronto failed to defend the Kabelano Charity Cup on Saturday when they lost to Mochudi Centre Chiefs in the semi-final but rose to the occasion in the Tuesday event. Notwane lifted the Merafe Cup after overcoming Extension Gunners 5-4 in post-match penalty shootout. The two sides were level 2-2 before the shootout separated them. 

Toronto crushed city rivals Township Rollers en-route to the final while Gunners eliminated Gaborone United. Due to fatigue, the final failed to produce the much anticipated sparks. The game only came to life towards the end. Perhaps Jacky Mothatego provided the tournament's brightest moment with his stylish spot kick, which he cheekily looped over Gunners goalkeeper, Ntungamile Tshoganetso.
