The future of Nico United striker from Ivory Coast, Gnenago Bonano Beugre, remains uncertain with reports that he might get the boot for underperformance. Nico spokesperson Kgakgamatso Moreri however, dispelled the allegations yesterday claiming the player could not leave after a brief spell. Beugre has only played two matches for the Premier League outfit against Notwane and Uniao Flamengo Santos.

Beugre picked up criticism from Majombolo supporters as they felt he was running out of steam quickly and that it seems like he is taking long to gel with the team.

"The player is relatively new at the club and it is not fair to judge him after only two games. We need time to watch him play, and that is when we can decide about his stay at Nico. At the moment he is nursing an injury," Moreri said.
