Nico United chairman, Mothusi Taolo is unopposed and looks set to retain his seat as the club holds its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Selebi-Phikwe on Sunday. Then vice chairman.

Taolo was elevated to the top post after the abrupt departure of Eitlhomilwe Raditshego last year. He feels he has a lot to offer the club and urged supporters to come in large number for Sunday’s meeting.

He said the meeting offers members the opportunity to shape the future of the club. He urged members to elect officials who can bring change. Taolo said the plan is to see Nico challenge for the league title next season and this can only be possible with good leadership.  During his term, Taolo has seen the club foster strong relations with BCL mine, while at the same time establishing an office with a full secretariat. He said because of the improved relations with BCL has resulted in the completion of the club’s changing rooms and the  administration offices.  As part of the Bosele Declaration, clubs are expected to have an office and a fully-fledged secretariat.
