National Stadium to be ready by June 16

Kgathi said he was satisfied with progress after touring the venue yesterday. The tour was meant to give the minister a chance to appreciate the progress of the project and assess if it will meet the June 16 deadline.

The pitch's drainage system is being redone because in its initial state, the pitch would not drain water.According the Permanent Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Infrastructure, Science and Technology, Dikagiso Mokotedi, more than half of the work has been done.
