Mozambique club releases Masitara

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Mozambique side, Desportivo Malcumana, has released Master Masitara before the end of his three-year contract, paving the way for the player to join Nico United.

Masitara's contract with Malcumana was due to expire next year. The striker joins Nico after a brief stint with another BeMobile Premier League side, Miscellaneous, where he was on loan from Malcumana. Nico spokesperson, Lopang Pule, told Mmegi Sport that they have compensated Malcumana for the period that was left in Masitara's contract. He however, could not reveal how much the club paid.

Pule said the club was in possession of Masitara's international reverse clearance and the striker was ready to do duty for Majombolo.
