While there is still confusion as to when the Premier League games will resume, the First Division action is going on and Palapye side, Motlakase are on the rampage.

For several seasons, the club has been campaigning in the First Division North but failed to get promotion to the Premier League. They came close last season but faltered in the closing stages, even failing to qualify for the promotion play-offs.

This season Motlakase look determined to win the First Division North and get automatic qualification to the Premier League. Out of seven games played so far, Motlakase have a 100 percent record with 21 points. Importantly, five of the seven games were away from their Palapye bastion. The first journey for Motlakase was to the neighbouring village, Serowe, where they took on Miscellaneous in a highly-anticipated clash. The two sides fought for supremacy last season with  Miscellaneous outwitting Motlakase in the race to get to the promotion play-offs. However, when they met in the first match this season, Motlakase ran away with a 3-1 win. Next on the menu was Maun Terrors who were overcome 2-1. Motlakase then travelled to the diamond-mining town of Letlhakane to tackle Stone Breakers and handed out a 4-1 wallop.
