Mooki blasts BFA boss

Former Botswana Football Association (BFA) Marketing and Communications Officer, Ishmael Mooki has blasted the organisation's president Phillip Makgalemele for lack of professionalism. Mooki lashed out days after he was unceremoniously kicked out of the BFA before the end of his probation period.

He joined the BFA in February but he has been kicked-out because the association feels he is incompetent. Two weeks ago, BFA Chief Executive Officer Thabo 'Styles' Ntshinogang denied that Mooki had been shown the door.

When contacted for comment yesterday, Mooki was fuming and accused Makgalemele of disrespecting the people working at the BFA secretariat. He said things took a turn for the worse at BFA for him when the Football Development Appeal (FODA) was deferred. It is understood that since Makgalemele was not present at the last meeting when FODA was deferred, he took his frustrations on Mooki, who was the only serving member of BFA in the committee.
