Moilwa makes boxing history

The Sir Seretse Khama Barracks' boxer stopped Ofentse Moloi of Botho College in the 60 kilograms category to achieve the feat. The four-round bout ended in the second round after she knocked out Moloi senseless.
Besides Moloi and Moilwa, five other women were at the event, but Botswana Boxing Association (BBA) spokesperson, Willough Kemoen said one did not fight because she did not have an opponent. Kemoen said that they were impressed by the number of entrants in the tournament. The contest attracted 14 clubs across the country with 86 boxers in action. Only UB, Tsholofelo and Jwaneng boxing clubs did not turn up for last Saturday's event and no reason was given for their non-appearance. "Last year, we attracted 40 boxers meaning that we had 20 bouts or fights of four rounds but this year, the number has doubled. The number is very impressive," he said.
