Mogogi missing in Super Sport defeat

Dipsy Selolwane played the whole match but compatriot Mogogi Gabonmong who joined Matsatsantsa during the January transfer window, did not see action as the Pretoria side fell 1-0 to Orlando Pirates on Saturday.

The Pirates' goal came very late in injury time as Thulasizwe Mbuyane handed the Buccaneers the win, which sees the top three of the league now separated by just two points. Mamelodi Sundowns lead the way with 27 points, Kaizer Chiefs are on 26, and Pirates are on 25.

Matsatsantsa will feel that they deserved at least a point from the game, but they have only themselves to blame for their poor finishing. The reigning champions are now placed third-from-bottom, just above the relegation zone.
