The national Under-23 soccer team went into camp on Sunday to prepare for the last 2008 Olympic Games' qualifier away to Cameroon later this month. The team is under the tutelage of assistant coach Kenneth Mogae. The coach comes in for David Bright who has joined South African Premier League side, Engen Santos. Mogae has been an assistant to Bright.

He has called 27 players to be trimmed down top 18 for the trip to Cameroon. Kaone Molefe and Tebogo Sembowa who are currently studying in South Africa are part of the team.

During a media briefing yesterday, Mogae said that he is hoping to play a few friendly games against local sides before they leave. "But our challenge may be the congestion of the Premier League fixtures," he said.
