Mazembe's deadly concoction floors Chiefs

The TP Mazembe show rolled into town last week and departed on Sunday leaving lasting impressions.

As proceedings drew to a furious close at the UB Stadium, Mazembe fans broke into a French song with words, which sounded like an ominous warning to opponents, Mochudi Centre Chiefs. It sounded like 'where are you going' and indeed Chiefs know the dangers that lie in the jungles of Lubumbashi where Mazembe will be the home side in a fortnight. 

Chiefs had to contend with a rare situation on Saturday; outplayed on the pitch and out sung on the terraces, a poisonous concoction they usually dish out to local opponents. While Mazembe's smash and grab 1-0 victory all but guarantee them a berth in the second round of the CAF Champions League, the manner in which their supporters went about their business on the terraces caught the eye.
