Matebejana player collapses, dies during training

First Division South side, Matebejana right back Justice Sebopi passed away on Tuesday after he collapsed and died while training in Selebi-Phikwe.

The 27-year-old died from a suspected heart attack. He was rushed to a nearby clinic where he was certified dead.

Matebejana and First Division South secretary general, Tico Kamati said, since it was already off-season, the player had asked to train with his former team, Red Lions in Selebi-Phikwe, to keep fit. "We received the news yesterday, our players are in rest following the end of the season. So he was back home and opted to train with Red Lions.
