Masitara Joins Zimbabwe's Highlanders

Highlanders' chairman, Peter Dube told Sport Monitor that they would make an announcement about Masitara's return to the Castle Premier Soccer League tomorrow. "We are almost done in terms of the deal, but I would not want to go on record about it at this stage. We should be able to give full details about the issue on Tuesday,"Dube said in a telephone interview.
The title chasing Highlanders have been pursuing Masitara for a long time in an effort to sharpen their blunt strike force. Despite being ignored by national team selectors, the former Railstars gunman still commands a lot of respect in Zimbabwe. He was a hit with Railstars before moving to NICO in 2006. Masitara has enjoyed a good spell in Botswana since his arrival from Zimbabwe. He walked away with the Golden Boot Award in his debut season, scoring 18 goals.
