SELEBI PHIKWE: Nico United has re-scheduled its aborted Annual General Meeting (AGM) to Monday next week.

The AGM failed to take place last Monday at Area One because of a poor turn out. Club secretary, Sam Kelebale said the Monday meeting was poorly advertised and that is why many people did not come.

"We hope to have informed enough people for the meeting to proceed next Monday," he said. About 30 out of an expected 100 people turned up for the Monday meeting.
The AGM is expected to elect club officials. The chairman Mack William, Kelebale and treasurer, Mothusi Taolo are not seeking re-election. Nico is backed by copper-nickel mining concern BCL. It is reported that the BCL security superintendent, Noah Makaba is the surprise contender for the chairman's post.
