KBL hikes Mooka Mageu boxing sponsorship

Kgalagadi Breweries Limited (KBL) has increased its sponsorship for the annual Keone Mooka Mageu Boxing Championship from P106,000 to P125,000.

The sponsorship cheque was handed over to Botswana Boxing Association (BoBA) by KBL marketing manager Mmabatho Dibe on Tuesday. Dibe said they have recognised the true greatness of the relationship that has existed between them and BoBA over the years.

She applauded BoBA for upgrading its image and re-branding itself to rise higher in the world of boxing both regionally and internationally. She said the boxing administrators have been easy to work with and that is why they have been supported by KBL for a long time. "BoBA is an outstanding organisation to work with. It is always pointed out in relationships that you give as good as you get," she said. This is the ninth year that KBL is sponsoring boxing through its Keone Mooka Mageu brand.
