Kalavango plans ahead for international tourney

Local volleyball giants, Kalavango have vowed to make their international tournament even bigger next year to accommodate more teams. The tournament takes place this weekend in Lobatse where Zimbabwean side, ZRP Raidors are expected to grace the event.

“I know people are saying why did we leave other teams behind but I can assure you that we will make this event much bigger next year so that we can accommodate more teams,” the tournament’s spokesperson, Monica Alfred said at a media briefing yesterday.

The tournament features other local sides; Kutlwano, Spiking Stars, Diphatsa, Police, Prisons and Dynamites. The men’s teams will be divided into two pools of four teams in each pool.
