Indiscipline haunts Tanian

FRANCISTOWN: Discipline has reportedly given way to partying and lethargy at the struggling Tanian volleyball club. The Serowe-based outfit has found the going tough in the ongoing Mascom Volleyball League that is sponsored to the tune of P3 million over two years.

Stone Mekgwe, the Tanian head coach and his charges are yet to win a match since the season started this year.Tanian lost their two opening matches against returnees Orapa Volleyball Club and seasoned Diphatsa Volleyball Club at the Orapa Sports hall late last month. Mekgwe and his charges lost by an identical 0-3 margin.

Last Saturday, Tanian also failed to take full home advantage during their league encounters played at the Serowe College of Education Sports Hall. Tanian fell 0-3 to Prisons Volleyball Club in their first match before succumbing to a Kutlwano Volleyball Club juggernaut.
