India confident of successful Commonwealth Games

India is confident of putting up a super show to host the 19th edition of the Commonwealth Games that gets underway in New Delhi on October 3. "We are confident of hosting a good tournament," Shivansh Bhatnagar a representative of the Indian games organising committee said in Gaborone yesterday.

Bhatnagar, was speaking to Mmegi Sport at the Gaborone Cricket Club during the brief tour of the Queen's Baton yesterday.

He said although cricket remains by far the most popular sport in India, the over one billion people in the country are still passionate about other sports codes.
