Hunda resigns from Gunners

The coach joined Gunners this season, replacing Fewdays Musonda, who once complained about lack of quality players. Before going to Gunners, Hunda was at Uniao Flamengo Santos where he had a relatively good time with the youthful side. Hunda was in his third stint as Gunners' coach.
Yesterday, he refused to confirm nor deny whether he has resigned. It is said that Hunda was forced out by frustrations after management declined to sign the players he wanted. "He made some recommendations but the management has decided to sign their own players. He wanted a goalkeeper, midfielders and seasoned strikers but the management did things their own way," said a source. Gunners' need for seasoned strikers was clear on Saturday night when they were beaten 2-1 by rookies Boteti Young Fighters at UB Stadium.
