Gaborone Hogs are this year's national A Division League champions following their 16-13 victory over defending champions, UB Rhinos in an exciting final played at Wharic Park on Saturday.

It was a sweet revenge for Hogs who had lost to Rhinos in last year's final, though they had won it the previous year.
From the start, it looked like UB Rhinos were going to run away with the title once until the last 15 minutes when Hogs showed their mental strength. Hogs were the first to take the lead when Sean Bester scored the first penalty of the match. Moments later, UB Rhinos levelled matters through a well taken penalty from influential player, Rex Mmopi.

Rhinos took control of the match and were rewarded when Thato Maifala scored a try before Mmopi scored a conversion to give his side a 10-3 lead before the two went into the half time recess.
