Gunners seek revival against Chiefs

Molepolole Sports Complex will tomorrow be the battlefield when last season Coca-Cola Cup winners, Extension Gunners and Mochudi Centre Chiefs, square up in a be MOBILE Premier League encounter. Kick-off is at 5pm.

The two heavyweights last met in the semi finals of the Coca-Cola Cup, which Gunners won 1-0. Much has happened since then with Chiefs losing key players including midfielder, Oteng Moalosi, who will be in Gunners' colours against his former team. Moalosi came on as a second half substitute last Sunday when Gunners fell 2-1 to their cross-town rivals, BMC. It was Gunners' second successive defeat following a 3-2 loss to BDF XI the previous week. Against BMC, Gunners dominated proceedings early in the first half but missed several chances until BMC strolled back into the game midway through the first half.

Moalosi had an immediate impact when he came on in the second half and had a hand when Gunners pulled a goal back towards the end of the game. He is likely to find himself in the starting line-up and faces a possible midfield battle with former team mates, among them Lesego Galenamotlhale.
