Gaborone United's (GU) quest for the league title continued on Saturday when they thrashed traditional rivals, Township Rollers 5-1 in an exciting be MOBILE Premier League game played at the Molepolole Stadium. Although Rollers were initially tipped to be the tough opponents for the log leaders, GU had a relatively easy day.

They looked much more like a championship side, while Rollers, who had nothing to play for as they looked set to secure their top five position on the log standings never showed character like in their previous, encounter with ECCO City Greens. Rollers leading goal scorer, Terrence Mandaza was missing from the line up as well as Edwin Moalosi and Monageng Thaele.

Thaele and Moalosi were said to be attending trials in South Africa although they had initially left with Aubrey Kebonnetse and Edwin Olerile, who were back in the side. Kaone Molefe, who has been studying in South Africa was back in the team and partnered with Onalethata Tshekiso up front while Malawian Midfielder who normally plays in front of defence was roped in at the heart of the defence and did a good job. GU on the other side did not make many changes to the regular starting 11 except the introduction of Ntesang Simanyana in place of Tiroyamodimo Mohambi.
