Fighters secure Top 8 spot

Mogoditshane Fighters beat Uniao Flamengo Santos 2-1 in the final match of the 2011/2012 be MOBILE Premier League season to finish eighth on the log. The victory saw Fighters overtaking Lobatse side Extension Gunners to the lucrative top eight spot.

Gunners, who last weekend beat Notwane to relegate them to the first division while Santos survived the chop had expected the youthful Gabane side to do them a favour by beating or at least drawing with Fighters.It was not to be as Santos seemed comfortable with their survival starting the game with a very weak side that did not include their key man this season Jackie Mothatego.
