Fighters Dig Own Grave

Mogoditshane Fighters have themselves to blame for going down 1-0 to Gaborone giants, Township Rollers in a be MOBILE Premier League game played at Molepolole Sports Complex on Saturday.

After losing 4-2 to Extension Gunners in their last fixture, the Fighters technical team led by Rasta Kgengwenyane and former Rollers' striker, Mmoni 'States' Segopolo seemed to have done their homework well. The only problem on Saturday was that Fighters had a big problem in front of goal despite the fact that the Rollers' defence was shaky for the entire game.

In the absence of injured defender-cum-midfielder, Boitumelo Mafoko, Kgomari Mothuba returned to the first line up for Rollers and did fairly well but young defender, Mogomotsi Kerebotswe looked jittery and had a torrid time against speedy Fighters' winger, Mandla Mgadla.  The introduction of defender Oscar Ncenga at the start of the second half for Mohammed Chawila did not bring stability at the back for Rollers but fortunately, Mothuba and goalkeeper, Anthony Matengu were at their best.
