Fans React To Ticket Price Hikes

"To me it is both good and bad. We will obviously struggle to watch as many games as we used to, but at the same time, it is good that our clubs will be getting more money as running a club is very expensive these days," said Lobtrans Gunners' supporter, Fabian. He added that the clubs should have consulted supporters about the hike. "Also, we should have known this long before the season started so that we could prepare because the club officials had a long time to think about the idea after the end of last season," he added.
Fabian urged clubs to attract more supporters to help them get sponsors.
Township Rollers' supporter, Agalerona Kefelwang feels that it is a good idea to increase the gate charges. "My only problem is with these so called institutional clubs. They fail to attract more supporters but they benefit from other clubs who work hard to get more fans," she said. She asserted that if the institutional clubs had a sizeable following, perhaps there would be no need to increase gate charges. "It is a challenge to them.
