Facilities crisis hits softball

The remedial work going on at the New Lobatse Sports Complex is not only affecting football, Shell Softball League club BMC is also affected.

The Lobatse teams, both men and women, will continue using venues outside their base for their home games until next year.  The newly branded Shell League kicked off a fortnight ago and will run until May 6, 2012.

Botswana Softball Association (BSA) president Marumo Morule said they had been given assurances that the Lobatse softball facility will only be ready by December.
