The Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) 2017 season comes to an end with the finals of the four leagues scheduled for Wharic Park tomorrow. The final for the Super Rugby League will have a significant meaning as Gaborone Hogs players, Shaun Lees and Jeremy Babbage will call curtains on their long careers, after the match against BDF Cheetahs.

The final between Hogs and Cheetahs is expected to be an emotional affair with the two veterans’ swanswong. Lees told Mmegi Sport that the final means a lot to him because it is his last competitive game in a Hogs jersey.

“It is a game I would love to win for many reasons. I want to retire as a champion. It would be nice to smash them and own the bragging rights,” he said.
