FRANCISTOWN: Versatile Tendai Nyumasi scored in the 23rd minute to hand ECCO City Greens a sweet 1-0 victory over relegation bound Miscellaneous FC at the Francistown Stadium on Saturday. The talented attacking midfield maestro scored from close range after pouncing on a rebound inside the box to send Mamojadiskie fans into dreamland. However, the score was not a true reflection of the game as Miscellaneous dominated ECCO in all departments and created several scoring opportunities that went to waste.
Miscellaneous were left cursing their misfortune when defender Ontiretse Gaotlhobogwe's parried shot from Zecco Makafiri fell in the box and was slotted into the back of the net by the ever alert Nyumasi. The game got off to a blistering start with the visiting team putting pressure, but it was ECCO who settled first and found the back of the net. The impressive Nyumasi caused anxious moments for Miscellaneous whenever he was in possession.
