Davis Cup preparations gain momentum

The Botswana Tennis Association (BTA) has stepped up preparations for the Davis Cup Euro-Africa Zone Group Three ties to be held in Morocco in May.

BTA spokesman, Oshinka Tsiang said they have lined-up two practice matches, which should sharpen the players ahead of the crucial tournament.

Despite financial challenges, he said preparations are proceeding well and the final squad will be announced in due course. "Yes preparations are on course. Hopefully, by next week, we will have trimmed the team to the required number," Tsiang said.
