Police XI and Jwaneng Comets played to a goalless draw at Galaxy Stadium on Saturday.

Police should have gone up as early as the second minute when Richard Mwanza, bulldozed his way through the Comets defence but his well- taken shot was blocked by goalkeeper Katlego Kesekang.

A minute later, Bobo Motlhalane was on target on the other side but Police XI goalkeeper Jackson Legodi did well to avert danger. As the game progressed, Police XI started showing more intent to get a goal though their attacks were not well coordinated. A Police XI free-kick in the eighth minute was squandered by Landry Tchape. As the game swung from side to side, Police XI got another chance in the 35th minute but Caleb Masocha found Kesekang on guard after beating his marker on the right.  Barry Daka's men came from the dressing room eager to get a goal and Comets were under siege in the first six minutes as Police XI raided their penalty area but lack of composure made sure no goal was scored.
