Despite their recent slump in form, Mochudi Centre Chiefs spokesperson, Clifford Mogomotsi has warned fellow league championship contenders that anyone underrating the Kgatleng giants would be doing so at their own peril.

Mogomotsi declared that Magosi might be "down, but definitely not out".Chiefs have not been playing well since their participation in the CAF Champions League where they were eliminated by Democratic Republic of the Congo's (DRC) reigning champions, TP Mazembe. Chiefs ended up losing 7-0 on aggregate following the 1-0 defeat, which they suffered in the first leg match played at the UB Stadium.

Since then the team have suffered defeats to TAFIC, BDF XI (twice) but secured a draw against Township Rollers. Mogomotsi said the slump is a cause for great concern. But as far as he is concerned, it is nothing unusual in football.  To him, this is something that any big team should experience.
