Blood rivals Township Rollers and Mochudi Centre Chiefs are said to be at loggerheads over the financial worth of attacking midfielder, Thapelo 'Pepe' Balepi. Information reaching Mmegi Sport indicate that Rollers are demanding P15,000 for the release of the player to Chiefs.

Sources within Rollers have told Mmegi Sport that they have invested a lot on Balepi by settling his school bills and hence they need to recover their costs. The player has been studying at Gaborone Institute of Professional Studies (GIPS) and it is understood that he reached an agreement that he will play for Rollers because they are paying his fees.

Sources say that now Rollers want to be compensated for the money they have spent on the player if he leaves. "There is no way we can stand in his way (if he wants to move).
"We can longer afford to release players to Chiefs on condition that they will pay us later. They owe us money for some of the players who are shining in their colours," said a Rollers' source on Tuesday night.
